The Directorate of Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) is the part of Kibabii University responsible for flexible study. It works with schools and departments so that programmes can be studied online or in blended mode, with the same academic standards as on-campus study.
What the Directorate does
- Supports the design and delivery of online and blended courses.
- Runs the e-Learning Portal (Moodle) with the University’s ICT team.
- Helps learners get started, stay on track and find support.
- Trains and supports academic staff who teach online.
- Works to meet the quality expectations for open and distance learning.
